Summer Transfer Window 2015 - Premier League Signings To Watch

With the September 1st deadline slowly moving closer, here are some of the best signings so far... Gerard Deulofeu - Winger - 21 years old     Transfer:   FC Barcelona   ->  Everton  Transfer Fee : 4.2 Million Euros  Deulofeu has blinding pace.  His return to Merseyside will be much welcomed after being loaned to the club in 2013-14.  During his first stay he appeared 25 times, tallying 3 goals.  Sidelined due to injury the flashes of brilliance he displayed when healthy was enough for boss Roberto Martinez to complete this permit transfer without hesitation. A headache is the best way I can describe the aftermath of calls for a USMNT coaching change. Chelsea Squares vs. Barcelona: 2015 International Champions Cup

The 2015 International Champions Cup has been one of the highlights of the football world this summer.   This Tuesday play will resume in Landover, MD when Chelsea FC takes on FC Barcelona at FedEx Field.   Kicking off at 9:05 p.m. this match features a battle between reigning champions. Chelsea FC is headlined by one of the best current European football stars.   The reining Professional Footballers’ Association Player of the Season Eden Hazard is coming off a stellar season.   Hazard was one of the main cogs in helping Chelsea secure its 4 th Premier League title last season.   The seven time Football Association Cup winners will also showcase Spanish midfielder Cesc Fabregas, who contributed a whopping 18 assists during EPL play last year. European Heavyweights Faceoff in Audi Cup

The 2015 Audi Cup is right around the corner as the European football pre-season is now in full swing.   This two-day biennial competition, hosted by Bayern Munich, features all matches being held at their home ground the Allianz Arena. Play will kick off on August 4 th . Match play opens with La Liga giants Real Madrid taking on English Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur at 12:45 p.m. ET.   The second match of the day will feature reigning Bundesliga and Audi Cup tournament titleholders Bayern Munich and Serie A side AC Milan at 2:45 p.m. ET.   The winners will then face each other in the final on August 5 th at 2:45 with the third place match being held prior at 12:45. London Calling: MLS All-Stars Take on London’s Tottenham

The 2015 MLS All-Star Game this Wednesday features a clash against Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur.   The match kicks off at 9 p.m. Eastern Standard Time at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, Colorado. Headlining the MLS All-Star lineup is one of the most talented groups of forwards the league has ever seen.     Among them is league scoring leader Kei Kamara .   Joining him will be the reigning 2014 MLS MVP Robbie Keane and one of this year’s front-runners Sebastian Giovinco .   Rounding out the scoring threats is New York City FC leading scorer David Villa , who has scored 6 goals it’s the last 3 matches, and United States hero Clint Dempsey .   Dempsey returns to MLS play after a 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup that saw him be awarded the Golden Boot honors.     Tottenham’s frontline is no strangers to providing goals aplenty as well.   Leading the charge will be the England’s Young Player of the Year Harry Kane.   Kane finished 2014-15 with 21 goals in 34 appearan

Domestic Champions Headline International Champions Cup Play

Saturday July 25 th has gives fans a chance to see French giants Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea FC as they square off at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, NC.   When this match kicks off at 6:05 p.m. Eastern Standard Time all eyes will be on this battle of top-flight European squads.   One of European footballs’ top names, Zlatan Ibrahimovic is set to showcase his scoring abilities for Paris Saint-Germain.   PSG has become one of the most exciting squads to watch as their roster includes familiar faces such as Brazilian Lucas Moura and the French duo Blaise Matuidi and Adrien Rabiot. Chelsea FC has no shortage of stars as well.   Highlighting the team sheet is reining Professional Footballers’ Association Player of the Season Eden Hazard who scored 19 total goals during last season.   Joining him is fan favorite John Terry, forwards Diego Costa and Loïc Remy with the stand goalies Thibaut Courtois and recent signing Asmir Begogiv expected to split time in goal.
