Transfer News - UPDATE





 As I reported over the past few weeks, Manchester United are heating up on capturing two massive signings of Robin Van Persie and Brazilian wiz kid Lucas.  Both seemed to taper off of the signing with reports from all major papers and sources over the last week.  Now after Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini has announced he believed they would not be signing RVP it looks as if RVP may be in a United kit sooner than later.

United Bound?

  Lucas Moura, the greater Manchester club's other main target, is currently in Europe for the Olympics.  According to my source, he is proposed to travel to Manchester to complete a medical this week.  New reports from current club Sao Paulo, state no transfer fee has been reached yet.  However, Alex Ferguson has set his sights on signing the young gun.  As we seen in the past, Ferguson rarely doesn't get what he wants publicly.  He has stated many times his desire to sign the 19 year old winger.  Look for him to join RVP on the list of incoming players headed to Manchester in the coming few weeks!


Brazil face South Korea August 7th in the Semifinals
