Wilfried Zaha - On The Move Part II

*UPDATE* Wilfried Zaha appears to be heading to Manchester United.   As I reported 3 weeks ago , Zaha's dream move to Old Trafford is rumored to be around the total of 15 million pounds.  This may also foreshadow the departure of Nani.  More news to come in the coming days. Toronto FC Hire Ryan Nelson

Toronto FC has announced the signing of new coach Ryan Nelson.  Nelson leaves EPL side QPR after signing in June of 2012.  Nelson has some past with Toronto FC's general manager and president Kevin Payne.  Nelson was captain of D.C. United and spent 4 years there under Kevin Payne.

Wilfried Zaha - On The Move

Wilfried Zaha - Crystal Palace - Winger / Forward Possible Transfer - Manchester United, Tottenham 108 appearance while scoring 12 goals  for Crystal Palace since 2008 Wilfried Zaha has been linked with a move to the EPL during this Januarys transfer window.  Zaha has exceptional speed and phenomenal foot skills.  He showcased his skill time and time again for Palace in the Championship.  He seems to be a great fit for Manchester United who at times lack the creative winger with the dip in Nani's play this season.  Zaha posses creativity and smooth on ball talent mixed with his stunning speed.  His ability to draw fouls and leave defenders flat footed makes him a top name on Alex Ferguson's January transfer list. My biggest draw to this player is his ability to cut the ball.  Time and time again he used his Cristiano-Ronaldo-like moves give him a leg up on most defenders he faces.  A great example of this was seen when Palace play Manchester United in the Carling

The Work Ethic Of A Professional - The Gift of Soccer

Motivation and the desire to succeed is one of the biggest pros of being an athlete.  In high school I played soccer and ever time I stepped on the pitch I would turn on a mental switch which would allow me to play as good as I wanted.  Now, being a sophomore in college, I find myself in scenarios where I can apply the same tactics I use to use as player.   One of the greatest gifts ever given to me was the permission and funding of my family to play youth soccer.  Starting at the age of 4 I would play weekly in my Redding Park and Rec soccer games.  As I became older the games went from having fun to being all business.  As the games became more intense as did my life.  This came hand-in-hand with my level of maturity and desire to become successful.   My senior year of high school my aunt passed away from breast cancer.  I was emotionally destroyed and on the verge of self implosion.  My grades went down, my social life began to fall apart and worst of all I burden with sadness
